Beta test the new SQL Server Reporting Services functionality in GP Reports Viewer |
Want better integration of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) with Dynamics GP? Our team has been busy building support for SSRS into GP Reports Viewer and you can get a sneak peek by participating in our Beta test program. All of the great functionality and seamless integration we already have for Crystal Reports in Dynamics GP will be available with SSRS reports (including replacement of SOP invoices)! Do you need to run both Crystal and SSRS reports? No problem! You can manage both easily side-by-side within GP Reports Viewer and users will not even know the difference! Contact our Sales Department if you are interested in beta testing this exciting new feature! This functionality is only available for SQL versions 2005 and 2008 and Dynamics GP 9.0 and 10.0. |
Crystal Reports? Check!
Put checkboxes on your Crystal reports |
|
Often reports are printed with the express goal of going down the list and checking off items. A great example this time of year is printing a list of 1099 vendors to verify their addresses and tax ID's.
Here is an example of how to add an empty or checked checkbox to your report, depending on whether or not you have the tax ID for a vendor:
if {PM00200.TXIDNMBR} = "" then Chr(168) else Chr(254)
-
Drag the TaxID formula field onto your report
-
Change the font to Wingdings, you may also need to make the font slightly larger than the rest of your text for the entire checkbox to show up
Using this example, you can create checkboxes for any data and add them to your Crystal Reports. |
